Our next match is away to ALC Pumas. Usual arrangements, 10:00 for a 10:30 kick-off.


Aberdeen Lads Club are based in Aberdeen.

Take the A90 (Parkway) through Bridge Of Don, passing Tesco and across the Persley bridge.

Take the first exit at the roundabout heading up towards "Mike's Famous Fish & Chips".

Take second left which is just after passing "Mike's Chipper" on the other side of the road.

Follow the road down and you will see football pitches ahead of you as you approach a junction in the road.

Turn right and the ALC car park and pavilion are on your left.

Changing facilities will be available both prior and after the match, should this be required.

Directions to Cove BC Colts

Cove are based at Loirston Primary School, which is on Loirston Avenue in Cove, Aberdeen, but parking for better access to the pitch is at Loirston Close.

Directions To Cuter BC

Culter BC U11’s play at Skene Primary School.

From Aberdeen head along the A944 to Westhill, at Westhill follow the A944 Alford Road along past Costco and the Westhill Industrial Estate.

About 1 mile after the new houses at Elrick take a right turn at the old church that is now a Blacksmiths. This road is signposted B9126, Lyne of Skene.

Skene Primary School is on the left, about 300 yards up the hill.

Our next match is an away match against Donside Bulls, who playin Millbank.

Slightly different arrangements this week, please be there by 10:30 for a 11:00 kick-off. The kick-off will be determined by the match that is played prior to ours, so don't be too surprised if it is 11:15 till we start.

All boys selected will be advised on Thursday at training.

Directions for Fraserburgh Link-up

When entering Fraserburgh from the South go straight on at the roundabout with the Tesco store on the right.

On your left hand side you will pass a petrol station, you will then see pitches to the left.

Carry on past the pitches and take a left turn at the memorial.

Take another left after about 100 metres. Access the pitches from there.

Directions to Next Match: Byron Utd. Away

Byron United are based in the Northfield Area of Aberdeen.

Take the A90 through Bridge Of Don, past Tesco, across the Persley bridge and up to the Haudigan Roundabout.

Carry on up North Anderson Drive and at the second roundabout (the one with Murdo's pub on the left) take the fourth exit (signposted Northfield and Mastrick).

Proceed down Provost Fraser Drive, past the school and the TV mast, before turning right into Kettlehills Crescent (sign posted Swimming Pool).

The pitches are on the right hand side just past the swimming pool (look for a set of double gates). Please use the pool's car parking.

Directions to Kintore (Away)

Kintore are based at Kintore Primary School which is on the old road through the village.

From Inverurie on the A96, take the 1st turning in to Kintore (slip road then left at roundabout), head straight through the village, and the school is on your right just before you exit the village. There should be plenty of parking within the school.

Our next match is away to Peterhead BC Colts who play their matches at Clearkhill Primary School, Meethill Road which is located in the Meethill area of Peterhead.

Our kick-off is again 11:00 as Peterhead have 2 home matches. All selected boys to be there no later than 10:30.

Directions to Donside (away)

Donside are based in Millbank.

We have an 11:00 kick off this week.

The best route from Ellon is to go across country via Old Meldrum, Inverurie, and Kemnay. Approximate travel time from Ellon is 30-40 minutes. The game will be played beside the Millbank Bowling Green. Please aim to arrive for no later than 10:30 in order that the players have time for a warm up session.

Directions

Head over to Old Meldrum then to Inverurie and on to Kemnay. From Kemnay head towards Alford. Just before Alford you will come to a T junction (A944 Tillyfourie), turn left at this juction away from Alford.

After about 1 mile you will enter a small village of Millbank. In the centre there will be bowling greens and pitches signposted. Follow these signs to the pitches on your left.

Next Match: Formartine Utd (Away)

Our next match is away to Formartine United. Usual arrangements, 10:00 for a 10:30 kick-off.

Formartine are based at North Lodge in Pitmedden.

Take the Old Meldrum road out of Ellon. At the cross roads near to Pitmedden, go straight on by-passing Pitmedden. Keep on this road, past Pitmedden Gardens. The North Lodge complex is at the end of this raod, just prior to the junction. There is a car park on your left.

Next Match: Dee BC Away

Our first fixture of the new season is away at Dee BC. A new team for us despite having 2 previous fixtures last season which were called off due to weather.

They play their matches next to Tullos Primary School which is on Girdleness Road in the south of Aberdeen.

Usual arrangements still apply with a kick-off at 10:30 s all boys need to be there for 10:00.

After crossing Queen Elizabeth II bridge over the Dee, follow Wellington Road south. Justbefore the 2nd set of traffic signals turn left along Girdleness Road (just after Halfords). After approx 1/2 mile the school is on your right. The game will be played next to the all weather surface.

Directions to Next Match: Fernhill Away

Fernhill play their matches at Aulton, Aberdeen

Follow the A90 over the Bridge of Don and straight on to the next round about. Turn left down School Road (Lloyds TSB). At the bottom of the road you will see football pitches straight in front of you, and a new pavillion to your left. You can park at the new pavillion or you can follow the side road off the end of School Road (at the right hand bend) and follow this round to the car park for the Kings Links 6 hole golf course.

The match will be played on the 7 a side pitches adjacent to the golf course to the left.

Next Match: Colony Colts (Away)

This weekend we will be playing Colony Colts.

The match will be played at the Garioch Sports Centre, Inverurie. This is the same location as the friendly we played at the start of the season. Directions are below for those who need them.

The kick-off is 10:30 with boys required to be thre at least 30 minutes prior to kick-off to allow for a reasonable warm up etc.

Directions taken from the Sports Centre website are as follows:

From Oldmeldrum

On entering Inverurie you will cross a bridge with traffic lights. Take the second right after the bridge.

At the roundabout go straight on through West High Street, you will then come to a second roundabout where you will again go straight on up Blackhall Road and you will come to a third roundabout.

Take a right round the roundabout and then take the exit on the left after Morrisons entrance. You are now on Burghmuir drive.

We are located approximately 200 metres along the road on the right hand side.

Directions to next match: Stoneywood BC Away

Our next match is away to Stoneywood BC, new to our fixtures for this season.

They play their matches at the old Stoneywood Social Club pitches at Stoneywood.

Directions:

From Dyce: Head straight through Dyce and on to Stoneywood. After the new traffic lights at the Stoneywood Mills (Woodside Bar) continue straight on for approx 200 yrds. On your left there is a turning to a boarded up building, take this turning and park in the car park. The match will be played on the grass field off to the right of the car park.

From Aberdeen: Head out towards Dyce. Turn right at the McDonalds roundabout. Continue on towards Stoneywood. There is a turning on your left under a low bridge, there is also a turning on your right to a boarded up building, take this turning and park in the car park. The match will be played on the grass field off to the right of the car park.

Match kick-off is 10:30 so please be there no later than 10:00.

Sunday 28th October : Stonehaven Madrid (Away)

After our short break, we are off and running again away to Stonehaven Madrid, at Mineralwell, Stonehaven.

Usual arrangements, arrive no later than 10:00 for a 10:30 kick-off.

If anyone is unavailable, please let me know as soon as possible.

Directions

Take the old road in to Stonehaven from the north past the golf course. Go straight on at the mini round-a-bout. After this you cross a small bridge. Immediately after the is a turning on your right (Belmont Brae) which is a steep up hill and there is a small lane to the right of this that heads down hill. Take this lane and follow it for at least 500 yards. The pitches are to your right.

On entering Newmachar at the south, turn right to go through the village. Once through Newmachar, you will see the Hotel on your right, and a garage on your left. Turn left immediately after the garage. About 50 yards down the road, the pitch is on your left with a small car park in front.

Alford Soccer 7 Festival

The festival on Sunday 27th is due to start around 11:00, running to around mid afternoon.

Please arrange to be at Alford no later than 10:30 to allow for registration etc and to get ourselves organised.

Directions to Glentanar Colts, Aberdeen

Glentanar Boys Club play home fixtures at Woodside Sports Complex, the home of Glentanar Junior Football Club, which is located just off Great Northern Road in Aberdeen.

Head in to Aberdeen along the Parkway, straight on at the Tesco roundabout, and over the bridge at Persley.

Take a left and head up the hill to the Haudigan roundabout. Take a left at the roundabout and then head alonf Great Northern Road for atout 1/4 of a mile.

Just before the Video Drive In there is a turning on the left (Station Road) that takes you over a small bridge. Follow this road and it will take you under the railway line.

Take a left at the 'T' juction an then the next left before the housing.

The club is on your right.

Directions to Culter BC, Peterculter

Kick-of 10:30. Please be there no later than 10:00

Culter BC are based in Peterculter and play their games at Peterculter Sports Centre (AB14 0RQ).

Head out from Aberdeen to Peterculter along the A93 North Deeside Road.

On entering Peterculter turn right into Coronation Road at the Ploughman's pub.

Carry on up Coronation Road until you come to the sports centre on the left hand side.

The pitches are down below the car park.
